DICAA: Distinction in Creative Arts Award
Merit of Distinction recognizes high achievement in literature, art, and film.
The Merit of Distinction in Literature award was created to recognize exceptional literature across genres, whether the winning novel or book is a commercial, literary fiction, or nonfiction work. This award recognizes the evolving landscape in publishing with a goal of introducing new works to the public regardless of its origin or publishing operandi. However, submissions must meet certain standards for consideration. This award was designed to set the highest standards with a goal of introducing new books to readers whether the work is a top seller or independent title.
We are also introducing a Merit of Distinction in Artistic Expression for artists and the Merit of Distinction in Cinema awards. In light of emerging technology and generative art, our goal is to recognize and promote art created by human artists across multiple categories. The highest award offered is the Distinction in Creative Arts Award.
Our panel of judges include editors, filmmakers, as well as book and art critics.
